Jamie Lea Braithwaite and Dr. Joy Lea developed JOYrific Communication Tools in 2010 and have been raising our families utilizing the tools and techniques taught for decades.

“The Mind, Explained” explains Creativity isn't a mystical force - - it’s a mental muscle; how neural networks generate fresh ideas and ways to foster one’s imagination.

In 1975, a deck of cards called “Oblique Strategies” was created by musician Brian Eno and painter Peter Schmidt full of phrases to break through writer’s block in the studio. The cards provided over one hundred worthwhile dilemmas or words of wisdom that would release the struggling mind under pressure and return the mind into a creative state.

JOYrific is a communication gardening journey. There will be organic growth, care, and attention as we cultivate our tools and techniques. We are committed to not being paralyzed or overly concerned with the end. Our communication journey does not need an architect to create the envisioned plan with precise execution instead it needs a community of communication gardeners that will cultivate using an attentive, responsive, and fluid approach together.
